Jeffrey W. Moon, M.D.

Jeffrey Moon, MD, is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist who specializes in Refractive (LASIK/PRK) and Cataract Surgery. Dr. Moon is currently the Chief of Refractive Surgery at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Liberty, NC. He completed his medical school training at Wayne State University in Detroit, MI, and his Ophthalmology Residency in San Antonio, TX, serving a wide variety of patient populations throughout his career.

Since arriving at Fort Liberty less than 2 years ago, Dr. Moon has already performed over one thousand refractive surgeries for active duty service members. Dr. Moon is very passionate about providing the best eye surgery experience for his patients. As a recipient of refractive surgery himself, he understands every aspect of the process and is committed to offering that same quality and comfort to his patients.

In his free time, Dr. Moon enjoys being with his family (wife, 2 daughters, and yellow lab), playing piano, hiking, running, biking, and going to the movies.
