Meet Dr. Jordan Winegar, an esteemed ophthalmologist board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology, specializing in cataract and refractive surgery. With a rich educational background, Dr. Winegar completed his internship and residency, where he also served as Chief Resident, at the prestigious Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from Saint Louis University in 2018 after graduating cum laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
Currently based in Colorado Springs, Dr. Winegar is dedicated to providing exceptional care in cataract and refractive surgery. His expertise is recognized through publications in various ophthalmology journals and his role as Chief of the Warfighter Refractive Eye Surgery Program at Fort Carson, CO. Dr. Winegar’s passion lies in anterior segment surgery, including cataract and glaucoma surgery, as well as refractive surgery techniques such as LASIK, PRK, cross-linking, and ICL surgery.
Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Winegar finds joy in outdoor activities, such as rock climbing and soccer, and enjoys exploring new restaurants with his family. Fluent in Spanish and Italian, he also incorporates language learning into quality time with his children.
