Michael Brusco, M.D.

Dr. Michael Brusco MD, FACS, is a highly experienced, board-certified refractive surgeon. Dr. Brusco has performed over 7,000 vision correction surgeries including LASIK, PRK, RLE, ICL and premium IOL’s and focuses on leading the way with new technology.

EDUCATION/TRAINING
Dr. Brusco graduated with honors from Harvard College in the top quartile of his class. He obtained his medical degree from Northwestern University, earning multiple honors in his clinical rotations. Dr. Brusco completed his ophthalmology training at Kansas University, performing more eye surgeries than over 95% of his colleagues nationally and scoring better than 95% of all surgeons nationwide on his ophthalmology board certification exams.

MEMBERSHIPS/AFFILIATIONS
Dr. Brusco is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS/HONORS
Dr. Brusco spent two years as a staff ophthalmologist at Fort Riley, one of the busiest army installations in the United States, where he was trusted to perform refractive eye surgery on engineers, fellow surgeons, JAGs, Special Forces members, platoon leaders and pilots.

Dr. Brusco was awarded the STAAR top 150 surgeon in both 2013 and 2014
and was named a top ophthalmologist by the Consumers’ Research
Council of America.

Dr. Brusco is committed to surgical and academic excellence and is most
proud of the patients he has the privilege of helping. His goal is to provide
the patient with the very best quality of individual care, service and
communication. In his free time, Dr. Brusco enjoys reading, staying
physically active and traveling.
