Dr. T. Christopher McCurry, M.D., is a distinguished LASIK specialist, proudly certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. With a dedicated focus on refractive surgery, he brings a wealth of experience as a surgeon since 2014.
Dr. McCurry holds simultaneous M.B.A. and M.D. degrees from the Medical University of South Carolina and The Citadel Graduate College. His residency at the University of Virginia and LASIK and PRK refractive fellowship at Hunter Vision further solidify his expertise. A sought-after authority in the field, Dr. McCurry has presented at national ophthalmology meetings and is published by esteemed societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Since 2020, Dr. McCurry has been a pivotal member and the current Chair of the Physician Leadership Council for LasikPlus, LASIK Vision Institute, and TLC Laser Eye Centers. He guides a substantial group of eye doctors and surgeons, showcasing his commitment to advancing the field.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. McCurry holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering but chose a medical career to make a personal impact on people’s lives. He extends his dedication globally through multiple Ophthalmic mission trips, assisting individuals in Peru and South Africa.
In his leisure, Dr. McCurry cherishes outdoor activities with his wife and two sons. Committed to community service, he volunteers as a youth sports coach and serves on the local Little League Board of Directors.
